While celebrating our past, we look to the future and look to the sky.

Our centennial project has four components and will leave a lasting legacy in Guelph.

Planetarium
Learn about the sky in the inflatable Planetarium at the new Guelph Lake Nature Centre. An awe-inspiring education tool for all ages!

Observatory
Look to the sky from a new observatory at Guelph Lake. With a retractable roof and three powerful telescopes, it is an ideal location for stargazing, where everyone can broaden their minds and be inspired by the wonder of the universe.

Year Round Trails
Access the Observatory and Nature Centre using the new, fully accessible, year round Trails that link to Guelph’s trail network, running from Victoria Road around Guelph Lake and through the Rotary Forest.

Nature Centre
Rotary also contributed toward the Grand River Conservation authority’s new Nature Centre, a gathering place for park visitors to access information and experience the Planetarium. The Centre will have modern learning spaces for over 20,000 young people who will benefit each year from hands on programs.
