World Community Service Committee at Rotary Club of Guelph
WELCOME
Committee 2025-2026:
CO-CHAIRS: Jules Croskill, Anne-Marie Zajdlik
MANDATE:
- Committee members support international projects deemed feasible by the Club and may include a number of locations such as Africa, Asia, South and Central America and Mexico.
- Committee members work in teams, often committing to work on specific projects for 1-3 years.
- The Committee seeks out or responds to appeals for additional international projects that would benefit from a hand-up.
- The Committee also champions the ShelterBox program which provides shelter and disaster relief worldwide.
- Funds are raised through local Rotary Grants as well as Global (matching) Grants through the Rotary International Foundation endowment fund. Where possible, members also raise independent funds from sources outside of Rotary.
