READING BUDDY PROGRAM
In 2023, a local elementary school asked our club if we could provide volunteers as "Reading Buddies" for selected students who might need encouragement and help with reading, or enrichment through one-on-one attention from a caring adult. A 10-week pilot program was devised and run. The school, students and volunteers all seemed to benefit and consideration will be given to continuing this program in future
