Friday, June 23, 2023 will be our club's annual celebration of National Indigenous People's Day (officially marked by Canada on June 21st each year).
The meeting will have several special activities, including:
- A presentation by Gil Stelter, retired professor from the University of Guelph Department of History. He will speak about Indigenous History in Guelph, and it will be highly interesting for all.
- Congratulating this year's Indigenous Youth Award recipient, Adison Evans, a grade 11 student from John F Ross Collegiate.
- The ICC will be preparing some typical Indigenous food for lunch, as they did last year (and everyone loved it!
DON'T MISS THIS EXCELLENT MEETING!
