November 28 will be our AGM including financial statement for the past Rotary year plus election of two board members for the next year. While the meeting is planned as an in-person event, a zoom link was also provided in the meeting invitation emailed to all members by Matthew Webster. Be sure to attend our AGM, one way or another!
December 19 - Our club's Christmas Lunch will be held at the Guelph Country Club on Woodlawn Road. Details to follow by email. Meantime, book this event in your calendar.
SPARKLES IN THE PARK is almost upon us and many volunteers are needed for the set up, gate collections and take down. Go here for the details and links. The club needs you and your friends to help out at our club's biggest fundraiser and community event of the year.

Adopt-A-Family- THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL SUPPORT!Our club slightly exceeded our fundraising goal of $4,000. Marguerite Campbell and Liz Sandals have completed all the family shopping on behalf of our members, and will be dropping off our gifts to the Children's Foundation warehouse. We extend our deepest thanks to Marguerite and Liz for all their hard work on this huge task, allowing our club to make Christmas brighter for several families, including 23 children this year.

Donations for Guelph Food Bank - We're still collecting canned meats (any kind), pasta sauce (any kind) and peanut butter. Thanks for donations already received! Our collection bin will be on hand at our club meeting for the last time on November 28th, and Terrie Jarvis will deliver all contributions to the Food Bank next week.
Donations of winter clothing for The Bench - Past president Nanita Mohan is collecting warm clothing that can be delivered to The Bench in Guelph, outside the Guelph Community Health Centre. Bring items to our club meetings and Nanita will handle the delivery.

AT OUR LAST CLUB MEETING …
We thoroughly enjoyed a presentation by The Carpenters' Crew. They are a group of recently retired and semi-retired men who have a desire to help out and give back to people in their communities. They come from varying backgrounds and work experiences, all having a passion for hands-on work (carpentry, home renovations, etc.) and for helping in our communities. Many come from a background either directly in the world of contracting or home improvements in varying forms, or they simply love getting their hands dirty and helping out, working as a team of friends. They offer their services for free to charities and to individuals with income of less than $50,000 per year who could otherwise not afford to hire professional helpers. Read more on their website.
