Five local families will wake up Christmas morning and know for a fact that the spirit of Santa Claus is alive and well, thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Guelph members. Our club members donated $3,000 and with a corporate donation from Walmart of $1,000, 8 adults and 11 children will have presents under the tree for Christmas morning. These families are referred to the Adopt-A-Family program by social workers and community agencies who will also deliver the presents to the families.

The gifts we purchased for these families were largely items they NEED such as food gift cards, winter clothing, diapers, car seats, boots, bedding, etc.  However we were able to    also buy gifts on their WANT list, like lego, chromebooks, wagons, LOL dolls, electronic games, learning toys, jewellery kits, markers and art supplies.

A sincere Thanks and WAY TO GO from the Children and Youth Committee
