We are sad to learn that Jane Tatum passed away on December 7, 2025. She was 78. Jane was the widow of our late member, Gary Tatum. Gary was a staff member at the University of Guelph and was our club's much-loved Club Secretary at the time of his untimely collapse and death in 1994 during a club meeting. Gary had worked selflessly as a Rotarian, always with Jane by his side, and she continued to attend many Rotary functions after his passing. To this day, our club presents an annual “Gary Tatum Achievement Award” to a student at each of Guelph's eight high schools to recognize their resilience in dealing with challenges. Jane's obituary.
