Calling all parents and grandparents:  you are invited to hear from Bella Hamilton, an exceptional local student in Grade 12, about the dangers lurking online for kids to get caught up in human trafficking. She is giving this same presentation on two different days, so choose your preferred date. You can attend in-person, or on Zoom. Bella is one of 35 youth from across Canada who are trained as a youth advocates and ambassadors in their schools and communities.

The mission of the One Child organization is to empower a movement of children and youth to lead the fight against the sexual exploitation of children and child sex trafficking through prevention education, advocacy and mobilzation, survivor care and survivor empowerment. On their website, there are several tools - aimed at children and youth, as well as parents, and a special section aimed at the guys.
