At its meeting April 19, the Board of Directors of The Rotary Club of Guelph approved of our President, Mahmud Hassain's requested leave until October 4 for health reasons. The board is so thankful for his leadership, his participation in our club life, his passion for Rotary and the pure joy he brings to a room when he's in it with us - and we eagerly anticipate his return to what will be Past Presidential duties and Board service.
The Board appointed Past President Tracey Curtis as our interim President until June 30, and we appreciate her selflessness in stepping into this role with all of its responsibilities at a time that her plate is more than exceptionally full.
