The Rotary Club of Guelph welcomes Dave Iacocca as its newest member.Dave says, "Throughout my career, I have had a passion for helping people, organizations and communities understand the benefits of using sustainable and innovative technology solutions. I believe strongly that you can do good and do well. As an experienced business development professional I have worked to deliver products and services to the B2B North American marketplace."
Currently, Dave is Director Of Sales, Parcel Services at Metroland Media Group (TorStar).
Dave's work history includes:
2021: Part of the leadership group at ShipperBee (Delivery Services Div) acquired by TorStar - Metroland Media Group
2020: Partnership agreement with the world's largest retailer
2019: Achieved growth of +10k IoT sensors deployed across Canada and the US
2018: Part of the leadership group at Alert Labs acquired by Watsco (NYSE: WSO)
2013, 2015 & 2016: Three-time Canadian Territory Manager of the Year at Neptune Technology Group
In terms of Dave's family and interests:
- He is married with two young children, a girl and a boy
- He played varsity football in University and continues to be very active re cycling, hiking, men's league hockey, men's league soccer, etc.
- His family as a whole is also very active with children involved in skating, dance, soccer, etc.
- His family are huge Raptors Fans and attended game 2 of the the NBA Finals the year they won
