On Friday, Helmuth Slisarenko, made an announcement about an upcoming workshop series centered around colonialism and reconciliation. To learn more, or to register, please read the story below.
The 2024 Settler Discussion series was created in response to the momentum of Settler Canadians seeking a platform by which to begin their individual journey of reconciliation and engage in meaningful dialogue and the Truth and Reconciliation's 94 Calls to Action, specifically #54, and #s 62-65.

Each week an engaging, interactive digital email containing information of the next week's topic will be emailed to you. Additionally, a Zoom link to participate online according to the date and time you chose will also be emailed. This homework requires at least 1 hour of your attention to fully participate and learn from during your four week commitment.

This discussion series is open to non-Indigenous and Indigenous people across Canada. We will meet on Tuesday evenings starting March 5th, 2024 at 7pm EST.

Tuesday, March 5th (Privilege)

Tuesday, March 12th (Land)

Tuesday, March 19th (Residential School)
