OUR CLUB'S AGM

Our club's Annual General Meeting was held on Friday, November 28th, 2025. Thanks to the technical wizardry of Matt Webster, a number of members were able to attend remotely via a Zoom link, virtually joining the members at the ICC. Meeting highlights included:

  • A brief overview of our club's granting process and funds granted this year, was presented by Crista Renner.
  • Presentation and explanation of the club's Financial Statements for July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. Trevor Lee braved the heavy snow to travel all the way from his home in Orillia to personally present this information in person and answer questions. It was great to see him again! The Financial Statement will be posted on our ClubRunner site soon.
  • Two board members were elected by acclamation to join our board of directors for the next Rotary year beginning July 1, 2026. We are delighted and grateful for their willingness to serve on our 9-member board. They are:
    • Tracey Curtis - past club president, past Assistant District Governor for our Guelph-Wellington Cluster of clubs, and a Rotarian for 10 years.
    • Patrick (Paddy) Grist - a member of our club for almost 3 years, and previously a member and past president at the Rotary Club of East York in Toronto for 21 years.

BUY COFFEE!

  • Do you know that you can now purchase our Good Coffee for a Better World in three varieties? Medium Roast, Dark Roast or Decaf, in your choice of whole beans or ground. These bags make a great hostess gift, teacher gift, employee gift, etc., not to mention for your own enjoyment. As we like to say, “Doing good has never tasted better!” Click on the bag to place your order.
