Rotary Recognized Local Students at their Commencement Exercises in Spring 2021.
Each year, the Rotary Club of Guelph offers the Gary Tatum Achievement Award to recognize students from each Guelph Secondary School to receive our recognition and congratulations for significant achievement in the face of challenges.
The Rotary Motto of "Service Above Self" guided past Rotarian Gary Tatum, in whose honour this award is named. Gary worked selflessly as a Rotarian, in our Guelph community, as do millions of other Rotarians all over the world.  Along with a Certificate of Achievement, the award includes a $500 cheque to assist the students with their future educational plans. We are very pleased to honour the following students, recommended by their teachers and school community, and trust they will continue to be successful in whatever path they choose.
Awarded in the Spring:
Bishop Macdonnell  - Samantha Tracey
Lourdes- Alexandra Botko
St. James- Marco Monteiro
St. John Bosco    Tristan Hertel
Awarded in the Fall:

In addition, a special award – The Don Bower Award is presented to a graduating student at College Heights in honour of former Rotarian Don Bower.  The award recipient this year is Thomas Loughlean.
