Bernie Miller was an active member of our Rotary club for 24 years, from 1983 to 2007, and is fondly remembered by our longer-standing members. He was born on May 11, 1937, and passed away at age 88 on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at home with family by his side after a long battle with Parkinsons. Obituary.
Bernie was a dedicated Rotarian who valued service to his local and international communities via the Rotary Club Of Guelph and numerous community organizations. His classification was Banking-Commercial Services.
He was on the Board of Directors for 4 years and was a member of numerous committees throughout his Rotarian years. Some of his committees included Music (several times and served as Chair), Lobsterfest, Sparkles In The Park, Tag Day, Fellowship, Fundraising (served as Chair), Fellowship/Interclub, Youth, Riverboat Gala, Interclub, and World Community Service.
